The Savage XL SBK Monster Truck Kit is designed for enthusiasts who want the full hands on experience of building an original and authentic HPI Savage XL from the ground up. This self build kit delivers the satisfaction of assembling one of the most iconic nitro monster trucks ever created while providing a proven and extremely durable platform that is ready for serious off road action once complete. With its extra long TVP chassis, extra long wheelbase and extra large stance, the Savage XL is built to rock and roll over virtually any kind of terrain with confidence and control.
The Savage XL SBK includes all the same core features that make the Savage XL 5.9 GTXL 6 legendary. The SBK version also benefits from new performance focused upgrades, including steel second and third gear components for the 3-speed transmission, new hex hardware throughout and precision machined 29/9T differential gears. These additions enhance strength, longevity and drivetrain efficiency, making the Savage XL SBK even more capable of handling high power nitro engines.
